When I “signed up” for CES I knew it would be madness, and I figured I’d be running around all day so I would need to have my chargers on me. I was prepared or so I thought.
On Tuesday I visited TYLT awesome booth where I was showed a ton of their products. I was especially intrigued by the “TYLT Vu”, but that not why I’m here! lol I left the booth with a goodie bag that was stocked with TYLT’s Powerplant portable battery (amongst other things) and I honestly thought it I’d review it back in Chicago when I had time to wind down of the madness otherwise known as CES.
Well as the saying goes, things don’t always go as planned. Phones begins to die, chargers on hand – packed and stowed in my book bag – and who knew that finding a free outlet would be like finding water in a desert! lol The hallways were filled with people camped out trying to do the very thing I needed to do, plug it. After mulling around and finally hitting 2% on my iPhone, I had that “come to Jesus” moment and pulled this puppy out so fast.
FRESH OUT THE BOX TYLT’s PowerPlant 5200mAh battery juiced BOTH my phones back to life and even provided some juice my iPad. I was able to continue my live tweets and keep up with my buddies to make sure I didn’t get left out of the parties. I even popped it in my pocket and hit the club so I did not have to wait in the room while it charged. The indicator light on the bottom let me when when it’s time to recharge it.
If you are like me and have Android both iPhone don’t fret, they have batteries for each. However, just one will do because they have an external USB AND it charges simultaneously.
If you are on the go and don’t want to be “caught in the matrix” you definitely need to get you one of these. It saved my social life while at 2013 CES and I personally think Jesus made this happen for me! HAHA
