Its been a long time since I’ve done a Dress Up, Dress Down post, but like my manicure monday post I’m back in action! Sweatshirts are soft, comfy, cozy, and easy. Undoubtedly are not the first thing that one might consider a fashion staple, but 1 year ago neither were wedge sneakers and look where they are now. Tons of designers, like Kenzo, have picked up on the trend creating a hoard of embellished patterns, wild prints, and uber fun fabrics including lace and leather. I’m currently loving this MARC BY MARC JACOBS Washed Ink/Multi Cotton MBMJ Sweatshirt.
A while back I called myself a “lazynista” in fashion, and it’s definitely still true which is most likely why I love this sweatshirt trend so much. They can be fashionable while being functional. I’ve never been a sneaker girl, prior to last year I only owned 1 pair of gym shoes for 3 years and those were my work out shoes. Last year I fell in love with wedge sneakers last year, so I was very excited to see these Alicia Keys released these Reebook FreeStyle Hi sneakers. The contrasting colors compliment the the monotonic sweatsuit that add perfect color for transition from winter to spring. I’m still on the fence about these Furla Candy bags, but it complimented the outfit well! LOL

Leather skirts and bright shoes are the perfect way to bridge gap with a transitional wardrobe. These Gianmarco Lorenzi stilettos heels are a simple yet bold statement shoe. I hate being too “matchy” but I absolutely love this Marc Jacobs watch and the color it provides. It ties to the blue in the shoes, but is not overwhelming. This Chanel Rouge Allure spring lipsticks are some of my favorites.
What do you think of the sweatshirts trend? If you don’t like my fashions, how would you style it?
